Writers Block Workshop w/ Regan Stewart

Friday August 7th, 9A – 4P:
Writer’s Block Songwriting Workshop with Regan Stewart

Inside the Nashville Songwriting Room

What really happens in a Nashville co-write?

Spend the day with Nashville recording artist and songwriter Regan Stewart for an immersive, hands-on workshop exploring the craft, collaboration, and career of songwriting in Music City.

The morning begins with an inside look at how professional songwriters develop ideas, build songs, and collaborate. Regan will share her own creative process, discuss the realities of today’s music industry, and offer practical insight into co-writing, publishing, and building a sustainable career as a songwriter.

After lunch, the workshop shifts from conversation to creation.

Participants will explore what they uniquely bring to a writing room before breaking into small co-writing groups to write together. Throughout the afternoon, Regan will move from group to group, offering guidance, answering questions, and helping each collaboration find its footing.

The day concludes with a fun and supportive Song Roulette, where participants will have the opportunity to share what they’ve written and celebrate the creative process together.

Whether you’ve written your first song or your hundredth, you’ll leave with new tools, fresh perspectives, and a deeper understanding of how great songs—and great collaborations—come to life.

Nashville-based songwriter Regan Stewart has been writing songs since she was eight years old, growing up in Auburn, Alabama before making her way to Music City. Her work blends classic country storytelling with a modern perspective, pairing strong melodies with lyrics that feel personal, direct, and deeply rooted in Southern tradition.

Stewart’s songs have been featured by outlets including Rolling Stone, NPR, CMT, and Cowgirl Magazine, and she has built a growing reputation in Nashville’s songwriting community for her sharp storytelling and authentic voice.

In this workshop, Regan will share insights from the Nashville co-writing world—how ideas become songs, how writers collaborate, and how to turn everyday experiences into lyrics that connect with listeners.
