Back by popular demand! Caitlin Vitale-Sullivan and Jacob Grace return to Muso on November 8th in their \u00a0duo, Farthest Field. No cover. \u00a0<\/p>

Cait Vitale-Sullivan<\/strong> is from the high desert of Idaho. She is intrigued by the human connection to nature, art, and music, and when not playing outside, she can be found playing fiddle or singing in the forest. In 2013 she moved to Norway where she was introduced to Scandinavian traditional music and majestic fjords. Upon completion of her bachelors in Ecology, she moved to Sweden to complete a Fulbright grant studying the connection between Kulning (Swedish cow calling music) and landscape. She enjoys rock climbing, swimming in cold water, skiing, and baking treats.<\/p>

Jacob Grace<\/strong> acob Grace grew up on a farm in northwest Missouri. He began playing the guitar at age ten, and was soon playing at churches, bars, weddings, and funerals. After playing with bands in high school and college, he moved to Madison in 2015 to study agroecology at UW-Madison, which is when he rediscovered his love of American folk music. Jacob is interested in the similarities between folk music and living things: how songs and stories can spread, evolve, cross-pollinate, and adapt, and how performers get to contribute to this process by breathing new life into them. In his free time, Jacob is learning to play the pedal steel. But he is not making much progress.<\/p>
