SONGWRITER SHOWCASE: TOM KASTLE & DAVE SHINDELE –<\/strong><\/h5>
September 26th, 7PM – 9 PM<\/strong><\/h5>

Tom Kastle<\/strong>\u00a0– Tom sings seas shanties based on years of\u00a0research and sailing tall ships, political songs based on years of singing with Madison’s Solidarity Sing Along, rallies, and get out the vote concerts,\u00a0 and originals ballads based on life.\u00a0Onstage, he has performed theatrical roles ranging from musicals to Shakespeare and played a political pundit with the legendary\u00a0Ed Asner in\u00a0God Help Us!<\/em>\u00a0Tom’s one man play for Fermat’s Last Theater Company has been performed at universities, the Woody Guthrie Center, and the American Labor Museum, and will be going to the People’s Voice Cafe in Greenwich Village next year.\u00a0<\/p>

Dave Shindele<\/strong> –\u00a0“I call what I do ‘piano poetry’, since music energizes the spoken word and vice-versa.\u00a0Music sung with lyrics is core to living. It embodies, expresses, brings forth and throws into the future. It knows what we don’t yet know. I love it!” Born in Seattle, raised in NYC suburban NJ, Dave has lived in Madison since 1978 and has been songwriting, singing and playing piano for over 50 years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
