Starting at 1pm, Muso will be hosting a wide range of fabulous musicians, starting with the Madison Cello Ensemble from 1-2pm. A mix of both experienced and newer players, fun pieces that feature just how versatile this member of the fiddle family can be.

At 2pm, be ready to sing along with the Madison Song Circle. Every week for the last 12 years, they have been gathering to sing folk, peace, protest, work, pop, camp, well you name it, for the pure joy of just singing with friends. Madison song Circle gathers weekly at Muso on Wednesdays 5-7pm, and all are welcome to join in then, too.

The Hoot \u2018n Annie String Band is a rockin\u2019 fun group that sings in 4 part harmony backed by guitar, fiddle, cello, harmonica and sometimes mandolin and ukulele. From old time Carter Family favorites to the Beatles, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, and Violent Femmes, you\u2019ll be sure to be singing along with them, too.

Tom Kastle 4-5pm is a poet, songwriter, singer, actor and tall ship\u2019s captain. Sea chanties, work songs, and songs about blacksmiths, magicians and lonesome highways all are possible. He\u2019s also a multi-instrumentalist. Concertina, guitar and banjo are likely to be part of his set. Always entertaining, he is also super kind generous friend.

Just Bach Concerts will bring us back around for some more classical in the form of Bach chorales, sung by this fabulous group of musicians. They have promised to get the audience involved with a little singing, too.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muso\u2019s final performance of the day will be singer\/songwriter Collin Queen. A senior in Engineering at UW Madison, Collin has been writing songs on guitar and ukulele in between his studies. He has a beautiful voice and his songs explore the emotions and challenges of being alive in the here and now.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s going to be a terrific day of music this Friday. I do hope you\u2019ll be able to join us.
