5/8/26 7:00 – 8:30 PM – Valentine’s Bluegrass Jamboree:
Valentine’s Bluegrass Jamboree is a celebration of bluegrass and roots music in Madison. This 90 minute event features a rotating ensemble of Southern Wisconsin musicians showcasing songs from Bill Monroe and Kenny Baker to Kitty Wells and Hot Rize. Valentine Schneider is a cellist and Music education student at UW-Madison. Her non-traditional journey to bluegrass fuels both her unique perspective and passion for the history, performance, and learning of this style of music. For listeners young and old, hardcore bluegrass fans, and those merely curious, Valentine aims to celebrate what makes Madison’s bluegrass community so vibrant.
