MUSO MOVIE NIGHT: ME AND HIS GUITAR – A TONY RICE TRIBUTE

NOVEMBER 11 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM:
An Invitation from Prentice:
It has been nearly 4 years since Tony Rice, the great legend of bluegrass guitar passed on December 25th, 2021. My life was changed in magical wonderful ways by his music and message. At the time of his death, the loss was too raw and the buried emotions too great to sit down and watch this amazing video tribute by those that played with him. Time passed, and I forgot about the video until this past weekend when I played music with folks that knew Tony personally.  Their reverence for this video was shared and reminded me that I always meant to watch it someday when the pain of his loss had faded.

Now is the time for me to watch this video. And I’d love to have some folks join me at Muso to watch it on the big screen and eat some pizza. Even if you’ve never heard of Tony Rice before, I promise you’ll have a great time learning about this absolute giant of music.

Video Description:  A live stream event (January 2021) with Bryan Sutton and “some picker friends” sharing stories, perspectives, and songs to celebrate the legacy of Tony Rice. Special guests: Josh Williams, Tim Stafford, Chris Eldridge, Molly Tuttle, Billy Strings, David Grier, Tommy Emmanuel, Michael Daves, Jake Workman, Andy Falco, Dan Crary, Norman Blake, Dan Tyminski, Ron Block, Jon Stickley, Dave Bruzza, Jim Hurst, Kenny Smith, Cody Kilby, Trey Hensley, and more!
