Hoot ‘n Annie String Band is a lively, vocal-focused folk group from Madison, Wisconsin, known for their energetic vocal harmonies and instrumentation including fiddle, cello, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and guitar, they play songs about life’s joys and struggles. They’ve released two albums: Just Happy to Be Here (2018) and Lullabies and Love Songs (2019), offering fun, danceable, and heartwarming music rooted in American folk traditions.
Band members Daithi Wolfe (fiddle), Prentice Berge (guitar), Michael Bausch (guitar, harmonica), Tim Haub (mandolin, guitar) and Cindy Murphy (cello, ukulele) are excited to bring in the new year right with a night of folk, Americana, and blues for you.
