Amanda Givens – Master’s Oboe Recital

Getting the chance to hear a Master’s degree level classical performance is a rare treat. Having one in our neighborhood is almost unheard of. In short, Amanda Givens is fabulous. I was lucky enough to hear her solo in rehearsal this week. I was floored by her playing. It’s so good. Backed by a string quartet, trumpet, and combinations of her fellow musicians, this is going to an exciting night of music.
