Starting Feb 18, 1P-3P: Madison Cello Ensemble Adult Mini Session with Beth Kaiser:
Session 1: Bach Around the Clock (BATC) & Irish Jam
This session, led by Beth Kaiser of the Madison Cello Ensemble, will meet on Tuesdays at the lovely Muso Music Space at 2040 Winnebago Street from 1:30- 3:00 pm.

Optional Performances with High School Ensemble include:
- March 8 – St Andrews
- March 16th – Jam Party at Beth’s House
We will learn four Bach pieces with the option of performing them at BATC festival on March 8th at 3:45 at Saint Andrews Episcopal church with the MCE High School Ensemble.
1) Sinfonia a three-part fugue in C (intermediate level)
2) March a duet in G (advanced beginner level)
3) A four-part chorale in e minor (intermediate level)
4) Joyful Chorale from Jesu Joy of Man’s Desire (a very beginner piece)
Simpler beginner options to play with the entire MCE include March in G book 2, and Minuet in C from book 1. We will read the beginner pieces and study the more advanced pieces.
On March 11th we will do Irish Fiddle Music at Muso in prep for an optional Irish Music Jam party at Beth’s House 3-6 on 3/16.
Our Irish Repertoire will include:
- Two 3-part Irish aires: Shebeg and Shemore and Foggy Dew
- Swallowtail and Kesh Jig
- Drunken Sailor
- Boil the Cabbage Down
- And a packet to join in with others day of!
The fee for this session will be $160 and includes music.
