Where does music come from, and how do we turn inspiration into something of our own?
Join award-winning songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and educator Brendan Forrest for an intimate exploration of musical creativity. Drawing from his experience in Americana, folk, and bluegrass, Brendan will share his approach to songwriting and instrumental composition, exploring melody, harmony, improvisation, and storytelling along the way.
Part workshop, part conversation, and part intimate solo performance, this interactive gathering invites participants to explore their creative instincts, ask questions, experiment with new ideas, and discover fresh approaches to musical expression.
All instruments, lyricists (no musical training required), and experience levels are welcome!
